Lovely colour, bright pale straw, very slight, pink blush. The nose is perfumed citrus, orange blossom springs to mind, maybe a little musk and hints of red fruit. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh, a balanced creamy mouthfeel with a crisp finish. Again, the flavours of perfumed citrus, orange blossom and strawberries and cream. Quite delicious actually. Not as bready or toasty as typical French champagne; more lively and zesty. Perfect aperitif. The significant increase in the Pinot Noir component adds that little extra.
