A cabernet Rose’? Our visitors are constantly asking us why we made the decision to stray from the norm and make this style of wine. The simple answer? We couldn’t stand the cloying sweetness left on our pallets from other Rose’s in the market. This Cabernet Rose’s standout feature is its ability to provide ample fruit flavours of strawberries and light cherries, whilst still maintaining a crisp, dry finish that doesn’t linger on the pallet. It’s what we believe Rose’ should be.
Another standout feature of this wine is how aptly named it is. Lana is the daughter of Helens Hill owner Allan. In her wisdom, she decided one day that she should have a wine named after her, and that wine should be her favourite colour. Which of course is light pink. Little did we know that the wine itself would be like Lana. Sweet and pretty with a very quick wit, and a hilariously dry sense of humour.
